Official Rules
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.
1. Sponsor
The Audubon x Nocs World Migratory Bird Day Giveaway (the “Giveaway”) is sponsored and administered solely by Nocs Provisions LLC, Nocs Provisions, Inc., PO Box 3712, Olympic Valley, CA 96146 (“Sponsor”). The National Audubon Society, Inc. (“Audubon”) is not a sponsor, co-sponsor or administrator of the Giveaway. Audubon does not select winners and does not award, deliver or fulfill any prize. Instagram and Meta Platforms, Inc. do not sponsor this Giveaway and are not involved in it in any way.
2. Eligibility
Open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in their state, whichever is older) when they enter. Employees, officers and directors of Sponsor and Audubon, their affiliates and agencies, and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their spouses) and household members are not eligible. Void in Puerto Rico, U.S. territories and wherever prohibited or restricted by law.
3. Giveaway Period
The Giveaway begins October 10, 2026 at 9:00 AM Pacific Time (PT) and ends October 17, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT (the “Giveaway Period”). Sponsor’s computer is the official timekeeping device.
4. How to Enter
During the Giveaway Period, enter on Instagram by:
- following @n_o_c_s and @audubonsociety;
- liking the official giveaway post on @n_o_c_s; and
- commenting on the official giveaway post and tagging at least one friend.
Each comment that tags a different real person counts as one (1) entry, up to ten (10) entries per person. Tags of brands, fake accounts or duplicate accounts do not count.
Free alternate method of entry: To enter without using Instagram, hand-print your full name, mailing address, email address, phone number, date of birth and the words “Audubon x Nocs World Migratory Bird Day Giveaway” on a 3″ x 5″ card. Mail it in an envelope with enough postage to:

Mail-in entries must be postmarked by October 17, 2026 and received by October 24, 2026. Limit one (1) mail-in entry per person per envelope. Mail-in entries have the same chance of winning as any other entry.
Limit of ten (10) total entries per person, by any method. Entries made by script, bot, macro or other automated means are void.
5. Winner Selection and Notification
On or about October 20, 2026, Sponsor will select three (3) potential winners in a random drawing from all eligible entries. The first entry drawn wins the 1st place prize, the second the 2nd place prize and the third the 3rd place prize. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Potential winners will be notified within three (3) days of the drawing by direct message from @n_o_c_s on Instagram, or by email or phone for mail-in entrants. Sponsor will never ask winners for payment or banking information. A potential winner must respond within seventy-two (72) hours. If asked, they must also return a signed Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release (and, where lawful, a Publicity Release) within seven (7) days. If a potential winner can’t be reached, doesn’t respond in time, is ineligible or declines the prize, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner drawn from the remaining eligible entries.
6. Prizes
- 1st place (1): Audubon x Nocs CA Scrub Jay Lite View. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $[379.95].
- 2nd place (1): Audubon x Nocs Summer Tanager Pro Issue 8x42. ARV: $329.95.
- 3rd place (1): Audubon x Nocs Crested Caracara Field Issue 8x42. ARV: $229.95.
Total ARV of all prizes: $[939.85]. Sponsor fulfills and ships all prizes. No cash alternative, substitution or transfer is allowed, except that Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a listed prize becomes unavailable. Prizes are awarded “as is,” with no warranty except the standard Nocs No-Matter-What™ Lifetime Warranty and as required by law. Prizes ship to U.S. addresses only.
7. Taxes
Winners are responsible for all federal, state and local taxes and any other costs tied to accepting or using a prize.
8. General Conditions
By entering, entrants agree to these Official Rules and to Sponsor’s decisions, which are final. Sponsor may disqualify anyone it finds tampering with the entry process, breaking these rules or acting in a disruptive manner. If the Giveaway can’t run as planned because of tampering, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control, Sponsor may cancel, modify or suspend it and award prizes from eligible entries received before that action.
9. Release and Limitation of Liability
By entering, entrants release and hold harmless Sponsor, the National Audubon Society, Inc., Instagram/Meta, and each of their parents, affiliates, officers, directors, employees and agents (the “Released Parties”) from any claims, damages or losses arising from participating in the Giveaway or accepting, using or misusing a prize. The Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete or misdirected entries, technical malfunctions, or any injury or damage related to participating or to a prize.
10. Publicity
Except where prohibited, winners agree that Sponsor may use their name, Instagram handle, city/state and prize information to announce the winners, without further compensation.
11. Privacy
Information collected from entrants is used only to run the Giveaway and is subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy at nocsprovisions.com/pages/audubon-x-nocs-world-migratory-bird-day-giveaway. Entrant information will not be shared with Audubon.
12. Disputes and Governing Law
Except where prohibited, entrants agree that any dispute related to the Giveaway will be resolved individually, without any class action. California law governs these rules, and the exclusive venue for any dispute is the state and federal courts located in [Placer County], California.
13. Winners List
For the winners’ names, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to Nocs Provisions, Attn: Audubon x Nocs Giveaway Winners, PO Box 3712, Olympic Valley, CA 96146, to be received by November 20, 2026.
14. Instagram Disclaimer
This Giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. By entering, you release Instagram/Meta from all liability and acknowledge that you are giving your information to Sponsor, not to Instagram/Meta. Send any questions about the Giveaway to Sponsor.
15. Severability
If any part of these rules is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
