The rubber caseing is in the way of the threads probably wouldn’t be a problem except that they are so fine,not sure if they’re stripped or just didn’t engage, conversely the rubber holds it place pretty well

This works so well! On its own it provides great, quick easy to use magnification that I can keep in my pocket. And when attached to my NOCS monocular the power is amazing. Love it! My experience so far with NOCS is that it is a great company with great products.

Santa got my son a zoom tube and this microscope for Christmas. He loves the Zoom Tube and has looked at bugs and some flowers with the microscope. He repeatedly says he can't wait to take it camping this spring/summer. It's not a proper, scientific desk microscope, sure, but perfect for a kid or on the go when hiking or camping. Solid materials and good magnification. Got it for my young son and convenient for carrying, but it doesn't feel like a toy at all.
